(WHAS11) Louisville Corrections officers voted “No Confidence” on Monday, against outgoing jail director Tom Campbell.

Officers cast their ballots on Monday, and according to union president Tony Harris, 95% of the more than 200 officers who cast ballots said they have no confidence in Campbell’s ability to lead Metro Corrections, and don’t think he should play a role in its future.

Campbell is retiring at the end of September.

Campbell told WHA11 News last week that he has treated his officers fairly and chalks the ‘no confidence” vote up to a few officers being upset with his push to professionalize the department.
