Original Beatles drummer in town for Abbey Road on the River

(WHAS11)He’s best known as the orginal drummer of the Beatles and he’s here for this weekend’s Abbey Road on the River.
Pete Best lived in Liverpool and his family became very popular when they started the Cashbah Coffee Club where the Beatles played some of their first concerts.
Best was dismissed from the band in 1962 but was never given a full explanation as to the reason why.
Best sat down with WHAS11 on Friday. He said he was disappointed but has moved on.
Best’s band will play the Waterfront on Friday evening.
