Fire at bar and grill in Indiana, owner was arrested last month for Texas Hold 'em tournament
10:33 AM EDT on Tuesday, April 22, 2008
(WHAS11) - A bar and grill in Austin, Indiana is now out of business for a while after an early morning fire.
This is all that’s left of the building on Wilbur Avenue. The Scott County Sheriff’s department says the fire started around 4:00 a.m.
When crews from Jennings township fire department arrived, flames were shooting out of the roof of the building.
The fire chief says most of the damage seems to have originated in the rear of the building where the kitchen is located.
This is also the business where the owner was arrested last month for an illegal Texas Hold em tournament.
Fire investigators are now looking for a cause.
