Propsed bill would make fatigued driving a crime

Rep. Tom Burch (d), a Louisville lawmaker, has filed a bill in Frankfort aimed at stopping "drowsy driving."
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration estimates one-hundred-thousand crashes each year involve drowsiness or fatigue.
Representative Tom Burch says the lifestyle of Americans today lends itself to driving while fatigued.
House bill 183 would "establish that a death resulting from a motor vehicle operator who drives while fatigued, or who falls asleep while driving, shall be classified as a reckless homicide." Produced for the web by Heather Posten.Forums, Photos & More
