Dattilo family says it has new info in disappearance
06:17 PM EST on Thursday, January 4, 2007
The family of a missing Madison, Indiana woman says it has new information about her disappearance.
Molly Dattilo was last seen in July of 2004 but the trail went cold.
Ben Dattilo says he's doing everything to keep his sister's story alive.
“We're convinced somebody knows what happened to her. At least our hope is someone knows what happened to her.”

The family believes on July 7, 2004, Dattilo was at the Westlake Apartments in Indianapolis, where she lived for the summer, and there she met two people. First, a woman in her 60s.
The family says Molly Dattilo met a 33-year-old man that lived in the same complex. They went on a rowboat ride in the complex, went down the street to a Taco Bell, and onto a Thornton’s gas station down the road, where the family believes molly made her last phone call.
But Ben Dattilo wouldn't say whether he thought those two were part of his sister's disappearance.
“We don't know what happened after the phone, our sincere hope is others know what happened to Molly that night,” he says.
Molly Dattilo was taking summer classes at IUPUI at the time. Her brother describes her as the friendliest person he knew.
“She would walk around campus and approach strangers because she saw the good in everyone,” he says.
But today, despite all his work, he admitted Molly Dattilo may never come home.
“We have a glimmer of hope, but we have accepted she probably is not.”
Police say these two people mentioned are not suspects -- not even persons of interest -- and said they couldn't comment on if they were with Dattilo that night.
Anyone with information is encouraged to call the Indianapolis Metro Police Department.
