January 1st is annual tribute to "Pancho & Lefty" songwriter Townes Van Zandt

Bernie Lubbers pays tribute to the late songwriter Townes Van Zandt.

Comedian and whiskey professor Bernie Lubbers demonstrates another skill from his resume with a song to promote Louisville’s 15th annual Townes Van Zandt tribute. More than 25 musicians will come together to perform music written by the late singer-songwriter, who died January 1, 1997. The free show starts at 6 PM New Year's Day at Waylon's Feed and Firewater, 3939 Shelbyville Road; Louisville, KY.
