The University of Louisville men's tennis team is
set to host the eleventh annual Louisville Fall Invitational Sept.
11-13. Matches will be played outdoors at the Bass-Rudd Tennis Center.
This year's tournament will feature three divisions in both singles and
doubles with main draw and consolation play. The field includes 10 teams
from around the region: Eastern Kentucky; Illinois State, IU Southeast,
Lander, Louisville, Morehead State, Western Kentucky, Tennessee,
Tennessee Tech and Vincennes.
“We are excited to have the first of two tournaments at home this
fall,” said U of L head coach Rex Ecarma, “Fans can see us play at
home. This tournament should be challenging with UT, a top six program
sending some players, Illinois State has a great team, this will test
the players, but they usually have a lot of fun playing at home in the
fall.”
First round doubles action will begin at 9:00 a.m. Friday, Sept. 11. A
full draw will be posted at UofL Sports Thursday evening.
