LOUISVILLE, Ky. (NEWS RELEASE) -- The University of Louisville men's tennis team is set to host the 2012 Louisville Fall Invitational Sept. 21-23. Matches will be held outdoors at the Bass-Rudd Tennis Center.
This year’s tournament will field will feature 13 teams from around the region: Arkansas, Austin Peay, Bluefield State, Campbellsville, Chicago State, Eastern Kentucky, Kentucky, Louisville, Morehead State, Murray State, Tennessee Tech, West Alabama, Youngstown State . The tournament will consist of three divisions in singles and two doubles flights with main draw and consolation play.
"We always look forward to hosting the Louisville Fall Invitational,” said U of L head coach Rex Ecarma. “The field is solid with several teams who will bring players in their starting lineups to Louisville. This is a perfect time to see the ‘three-peat’ Big East Champions and our new players from a recruiting class rated eleventh the country."
First round doubles action will begin at 9:00 a.m. Friday, Sept. 21. A full draw will be posted on the website Thursday evening.
