LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) -- University of Kentucky President Eli Capilouto says he willing to look at the school's policy on alcohol usage as leaders plan for future growth.
Capilouto made the comments Tuesday in a meeting with the editorial board at the Lexington Herald-Leader (http://bit.ly/SBz2HU).
Under the current policy adopted in 1998, alcohol is banned on campus. The ban led to an increase in rental homes around the Lexington campus and some have expressed concerns about late-night parties.
Capilouto said it's not just a matter of whether or not to allow alcohol on campus, it's advocating that all students use alcohol responsibly.
