(WHAS11) -- An NBA player says former Kentucky star and current Sacramento Kings center DeMarcus Cousins has "mental problems."
The statement came after Cousins and Dallas Mavericks guard, O.J. Mayo, got into a confrontation during the game Monday night.
Mayo and Cousins were called for double technical fouls after a confrontation in the Mavs' win over the Kings.
Mayo was irate after Cousins hit him in the groin area with a fist during the previous possession.
Cousins said it was not intentional but Mayo wants a review of the tape. Mayo was quoted as saying "that guy has some mental issues."
