LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) — The president and chief operating officer of the Lexington Legends minor league baseball team faces a charge of alcohol intoxication.
The Lexington Herald-Leader reported (http://bit.ly/18JhuUM ) that police arrested 31-year-old Andy Shea early Sunday morning at a convenience store in Lexington. Police say Shea repeatedly bumped into counters in the store and dropped multiple items from a grill at the shop. Police say Shea also tried to leave the store without paying for the items he took.
Shea is scheduled for arraignment June 17 in Fayette District Court. He could avoid the court appearance by paying a fine and court cost of $179 before the hearing date.
The front office of the Legends did not have an immediate comment on Monday.
