LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) — Kentucky's non-conference schedule will be more challenging next season with NCAA tournament participants North Carolina, Michigan State and Belmont.
The Wildcats have also scheduled Robert Morris, which handed them a first-round NIT upset in March. There's also their rivalry game against defending NCAA champion Louisville, which travels to Rupp Arena on Dec. 28.
Kentucky will open with consecutive home games on Nov. 8 and 10 against UNC-Asheville and Northern Kentucky. Its third straight appearance in the State Farm Champions Classic follows on Nov. 12, against Michigan State in Chicago.
The Wildcats return to Brooklyn, N.Y., to face Providence on Dec. 1, five days before playing Baylor in a men's and women's doubleheader at Cowboys Stadium in Texas. They resume their series with North Carolina on Dec. 14 in Chapel Hill.
