FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) — Kentucky Gov. Steve Beshear is betting the commonwealth's "finest bourbon and country ham" that the Louisville men's and women's basketball teams will rule all of college basketball this year.

If he's wrong, the bourbon will go to Michigan Gov. Rick Snyder. His Michigan Wolverines play the Cardinals tonight for the men's national title. Beshear is wagering a selection that includes bottles of Woodford Reserve, Wild Turkey and Maker's Mark. If Louisville wins, Snyder promised "the world's best cherry pie" made from Michigan cherries.

Gov. Daniel Malloy of Connecticut will get a Kentucky ham if the Louisville women's team falls to the University of Connecticut Huskies Tuesday night. If the Cards win, Frankfort will receive a basket of Connecticut fruits, vegetables and candies.
