Rupp Arena renovations taking shape

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WHAS11) -- In Lexington, crews are rushing to complete renovations at UK's Rupp Arena before basketball season begins. The home of the Kentucky Wildcats is getting $15 million in upgrades, including improved Wi-Fi service.

The old scoreboard, Big Bertha, is gone, and a massive HD video board that will now hang over center court has been assembled. The court itself is getting a facelift too. It's been sanded and repainted.

The final design won't be unveiled until Big Blue Madness.
