NEW YORK (AP) — The top three football teams in The Associated Press Top 25 are the only teams to receive votes for No. 1, with top-ranked Florida receiving 39 of them. Texas was mentioned first on 10 ballots in the media poll, with Alabama getting 11 first-place mentions but collecting eight fewer points than the Longhorns.

CINCINNATI (AP) — Bengals receiver Chris Henry could be done for the season. Henry broke his left forearm during today's game against Baltimore when he was tackled after a catch, putting the rest of his season in doubt.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Phoenix improved to 6-and-1 with a 102-90 road victory over Washington. Jason Richardson scored 22 points and Steve Nash had 17 assists to lead the Suns to their sixth straight win over the Wizards, who lost their fourth straight and drop to 2-and-5.

AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (AP) — The Philadelphia 76ers missed their last eight shots from the field en route to an 88-81 road loss to Detroit. Ben Gordon scored 23 points and Ben Wallace added 16 rebounds to lead the Pistons.

VALENCIA, Spain (AP) — Andy Murray completed his first tournament appearance since the U.S. Open by beating Mikhail Youzhny (mih-KAYL' YOOS'-nee) of Russia 6-3, 6-2 in the Valencia Open final for his sixth title of the season. The fourth-ranked Scot had been nursing a wrist injury.
