Top NASCAR officials meet with the public in South Carolina to listen to ways to improve their sport.

The Friday forum on motorsports marketing is being held at Coastal Carolina University in Conway.

The forum includes Marcus Jadotte, NASCAR's managing director of diversity and public affairs as well as Dave Finley, the director of series operations.

Also appearing are Talia Mark, director of the NASCAR Kinetics: Marketing in Motion program, and J.T. Smith, NASCAR's coordinator of workforce planning.

Coastal Carolina is one of six universities working with NASCAR on a semester-long marketing program. School teams work on solutions for case studies with the winning team going to Miami for NASCAR's championship weekend.
