(WHAS) -- Kentucky Speedway fans who are upset over missing Saturday's Quaker State 400 have started a Facebook page demanding a refund.

"Refund Kentucky Speedway Fans," already has nearly 400 likes due to the traffic mess that happened as NASCAR fans made their way to the track.

There are two exits off of Interstate 71 that lead to the speedway and many fans said it wasn't enough.  Some fans set in traffic for more than six hours while others turned around and went home.

"We realized we couldn't get to the speedway in time for the start of the race or even for the first quarter of the race, that's when we decided to head back to Louisville and watch it on TV," racing fan Mark Barrens said.

The speedway said they are evaluating the situation and hope to make a decision about refunds sometime this week.
