(WHAS11) -- NASCAR returns to Kentucky this weekend with hopes that last year's traffic boondoggle will be just a memory. On Thursday evening preparations are underway for the first race of the weekend at the Kentucky Speedway.
The World Truck Series race starts in just a few hours and on Friday the biggest names in NASCAR will be hitting the track.
