(WHAS11) -- Former NFL star Will Wolford will be named the new St. Xavier football coach.
The current coach, Mike Glaser announced he would be leaving at the end of this season. Glaser spent decades building the program into the powerhouse it is today.
The school made the announcement in a news conference Tuesday afternoon.
Wolford is a 1982 graduate of St. Xavier and also was an owner of the Louisville Fire football team. He played for the Buffalo Bills, Indianapolis Colts and Pittsburg Steelers.
