In our 4th HSGameTime Game of the Week we headed to Bullitt County for the big rivalry game between Bullitt Central and Bullitt East.
In a moving scene before the game, East's junior TE/OLB Jesse Bratcher led his team on the field just days after getting out of the hospital after being in a coma due to an injury suffered in a game two weeks ago.
This game went back and forth with Central getting on the board first when Damion Wibbles found Jeremaie Bennett for the 44 yard touchdown.
East would respond with a Matt Bowles touchdown pass to tie the game up at 7.
Central would then score 13 unanswered points, capped off by another score from Wibbles to Bennett to make it 20-7 Central and they would go on to win 20-14.
Next week: Bullitt Central (3-0) at Atherton (0-4)
Bullitt East (2-2) at Shelby County (2-1)
