The411 with Sherlene Shanklin: It's not unusual to see a player recognize their faith by doing certain things like looking up and pointing to the sky, bow their head for a quick prayer but when one player at the prime of his career made the decision to kneel as apart of his celebration after a touchdown garnered attention from people all over the world. Many of his fans called it "Tebowing".
The first round NFL draft pick in 2010, and winner of two NCAA National Football Championships Quarterback Tim Tebow will be in Louisville for Southeast Christian's Momentum. Tebow will be at the Blankenbaker Campus on Wednesday, April 9th at 7:00 p.m.
They are entitling the program as "An Interview with one of the Greatest College Football Players of All Time". Tebow is the first-ever sophomore to win the Heisman Trophy. He's played for the Denver Broncos and New York Jets in the National Football League. Currently, he's a college football analyst for ESPN.
Southeast Christian's Momentum runs from April 6th through the 15th. The purpose of the is to encourage, inspire, and challenge everyone to live a life of purpose. On Friday, April 11th at 7:30 p.m. Stars of A & E's Duck Dynasty Willie and Si Robertson will take candidly about their faith. Earlier that day, Sadie and John Luke Robertson will talk to the youth. The event begins at 5:30 p.m.
