LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) --  After more than 40 years at St. Xavier High School, head football coach Mike Glaser is retiring.

School officials made the announcement Thursday that Glaser will retire at the end of the upcoming season.

Glaser, who has coached for 31 years, has 328 wins as head coach, including seven State Championships and five State Runner-Up finishes. He is ranked fourth in all-time wind in the state of Kentucky.

Starting next school year Glaser will serve as the school's director of activities.
