(WHAS11) – On Saturday, the Seattle Seahawks selected Winston Guy with the 11th pick in the 6th round.  Guy played in 39 games for the University of Kentucky.  He had 23 starts.  Overall, Guy was the 181st player selected.

Just seven picks later, linebacker Danny Trevathan will join former Wildcat Wesley Woodyard in Denver.  Trevathan was the 18th pick in the 6th round.  Trevathan was an First Team all-SEC selection from a number of publications.

In the seventh round, UofL defensive end Gregg Scruggs was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks.  Great redemption possibly for Scruggs, who did not travel with the Cards to the Belk Bowl because of a DUI.  He went 25th in the round.

Local players who were not drafted, but were signed on as free agents include Josh Bellamy who signed with Kansas City, Bobby Rainey who signed with the Ravens, Chandler Burden who signed with the Titans, and Ryan Tydlacka who signed with the Eagles.
