LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – WHAS11 News has learned from Wayne Hettinger, the producer of Thunder Over Louisville, he is not expecting any military aircraft for the air show in 2013. Instead the air show will go on with all civilian aircraft and jets.

The 25 minute fireworks show is now in its 24th year and in 2013 the music is all TV show theme music. Shows like Seinfeld, Gunsmoke and The Jeffersons will be represented.

The air show will still run on schedule, from 3 to 9 p.m.

Hettinger said he remains flexible and if the military frees up aircraft at the last minute, he will make sure they fly through Thunder on Sat., April 20.

WHAS11 is your official Thunder Over Louisville station this year with all-day coverage.
