Louisville, Ky. (WHAS11) - It's the Navy's high-flying show, and one of the pilots for this year's Thunder Over Louisville performance hails from Fort Mitchell, Ky.

Lieutenant John Hiltz said at their closest, the F-18s are about 18 inches apart.

In addition to Hiltz, a member of the support crew graduated from PRP High School in 2004.

Both men said working with the Blue Angels and performing for the hometown crowd, will be a dream true.
