Louisville, Ky. (WHAS11)- The theme for this year's Thunder over Louisville is set.
They are sticking with super heroes and calling this year Thunder Power.
The music for the fireworks show will be songs from all your favorite comic books.
The event this year will be April 16 because of Easter, and many of the same sponsors are back again this year to help make the show a success.
McDonalds is also partnering again for a Thunder over Louisville fundraiser.
A portion of their large soft drink sales will go towards the community event.
Last year, they raised $100,000 through drink sales.
Another change is on the great lawn.
People will no longer be allowed to tape off areas just for their group, and everyone must have a Pegasus pin to sit on the lawn.
The pins will cost $4 in advance or $5 on Thunder day.
