LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11 and www.kentuckycenter.org) -- The Da'Ville Classic Drum Line Showcase College Fair is April 28 at the Kentucky Center's Whitney Hall.

Tickets cost $10 for all ages and are available at The Kentucky Center for the Performing Arts, 501 W. Main St. and the River City Drum corp Cultural Arts Institute, Inc., 3308 Chauncey Ave. The fair starts at 4 p.m.

Now in its 6th year and based on the Historically Black Colleges & Universities (HBCU) tradition, The Da ‘Ville Classic is Metro Louisville’s premiere community drumline showcase. While allowing local youth to strut their stuff in a non-competitive environment, the event also serves as a recruiting platform for participating schools like Kentucky State University (Frankfort, KY) and Lincoln University (Jefferson City, MO).
