LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Union Rags, one of the favorites for the Kentucky Derby, arrived at Churchill Downs, shipped in from Keeneland Thursday afternoon.
The horse’s trainer, Michael Matz, is the man who trained Barbaro back in 2006.
Matz said he will approach Derby 138 in the exact same manner as he did with Barbaro.
Union Rags is expected to work at the track Saturday, but weather could change that and Matz said he'll make that decision at a later date.
