The411 has learned that there's a new Derby event. It's the First Annual Winners Circle Derby Gala. It will be held on Saturday, May 1st at the Kentucky Center for the Arts on Main Street. NBA All-Star Allan Houston and NFL All-Pro Frank Minnifield will be the hosts for the event. Platinum recording artist and Broadway actress Deborah Cox will perform. The gala will feature a salute to the Black Sports Hall of Fame. The event will begin around 7:30pm. All proceeds will benefit the Kentucky Minority Scholarship Fund and the Buffalo Foundation, Inc.
