(WHAS11) -- Jockey Robby Albarado was arraigned Tuesday morning on charges of assault and domestic violence.
Police arrested Albarado Friday for beating up his girlfriend.
Albarado was suspended and prohibited from riding in his eight scheduled races on Oaks day including the Oaks race itself.
He will go before the horse racing commission next week.
Albarado was also arrested in 2011 on charges the he beat and choked his wife.
