LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) -- Racetrack owner Churchill Downs Inc. says it has reached an agreement with horsemen allowing it to transmit live racing for online and phone wagering from the 2009 spring meet at its namesake track that hosts the Kentucky Derby. According to a news release, the agreement allows the Churchill Downs racetrack to offer its live racing signal for the spring meet to national advance-deposit wagering platforms, including TwinSpires.com. The spring meet opens April 25 and the Kentucky Derby is May 2. Wagering will be beginning on opening day and continuing through July 5.
