(WHAS11) -The economy is already affecting next year's Oaks and Derby races. Churchill Downs said Friday that most ticket prices will not be going up. The track says the ticket price freeze will allow customers to purchase the majority of the reserved and general admission seats for the same price at 2008. Meanwhile, Churchill Downs is expanding a drawing to purchase pairs of reserved seats for the upcoming Derby. Starting Saturday, Churchill Downs will hold live drawings for six days. 500 pairs of tickets will be available for the public drawing.
