LEXINGTON, Ky. (WHAS11) -- 2009 Horse of the Year, Rachel Alexandra is up and walking but remains in serious condition at an equine hospital, Monday night.
Rachel Alexandra underwent surgery last week after complications from giving birth to a filly.
Rachel's filly that was involved in the complications is doing well.
