LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Less than three weeks away from the Sugar Bowl, Louisville's Teddy Bridgewater is now cast free.

University of Louisville offensive coordinator Shawn Watson told reporters that the star sophomore quarterback had his cast removed Monday morning.

It has been nearly four weeks since Bridgewater's injury.
