LOUISVILLE, Ky. – University of Louisville women’s lacrosse’s Ashley Herbst was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll on Monday.

The junior improved to 3-0 this season following the Cardinals’ 21-3 victory over Old Dominion on Saturday. Playing 56 minutes in goal, she made eight saves and collected two ground balls.

By allowing just 17 goals in three games, Herbst has a 5.78 goals-against average, good enough for ninth-best nationally. Her 56.4 save percentage clip is No. 11 in the country, and Herbst’s 22 saves are the 26th most in the nation.

The Cardinals return to competition on Saturday, March 2, with a noon ET matchup at Denver.
