(WHAS11)-This marks the final year for the Louisville Cardinals in Freedom Hall. The Cards first played in Freedom Hall back in 1954.
Wednesday legendary cards coach Denny Crum was at the grand opening of the Kroger grocery store out in Mount Washington. He was signing posters marking the Cards 50 plus years at the Hall.
“It's been a great place to play. I dont think theres a better place to watch a game than freedom hall i know our new building is going to be really nice but this has got a lot of great memories and tradition,” Says Coach Denny Crum.
