NEW ORLEANS (AP) -- The New Orleans Hornets have signed 2012 second-round draft pick Darius Miller.
Miller, a 6-foot-8 small forward, was drafted 46th overall after being named the 2012 Southeastern Conference Sixth-Man of the Year and helping Kentucky to the national title in New Orleans.
Miller, who played four years for the Wildcats, averaged 9.9 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 26.1 minutes per game last season.
The Hornets are not disclosing the terms of the deal for Miller, citing team policies.
Miller was the third player drafted last June by the Hornets, who selected Kentucky big-man Anthony Davis first overall and Duke guard Austin Rivers 10th overall.
