LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- March arrives on Friday and that means the NCAA tournament is just a few weeks away.

Louisville is ranked tenth and some say the Cards could be a two or three seed for the big dance but Coach Rick Pitino says the number doesn't matter.

Right now ESPN's Joe Lunardi has Louisville as a three seed but Rick Pitino feels like if the Cards win out they could climb to a one seed.

Pitino said he's pretty confident the cards will be a high seed but is not too concerned with it. He's only concerned with the next game. In fact he flat out said he doesn't care where the cards are projected at... right now.

ESPN’s Lunardi did have Louisville playing in Lexington in the first couple of rounds.
