(WHAS11) -- The Associated Press and the Coaches Poll are the two significant polls in college basketball. The ESPN/USA Today Coaches Poll was released Wednesday and all three area teams are ranked in the top three!
Indiana University made the top spot with 21 first place votes. This is the first time the Hoosiers have been in the top spot since the end of the 1992-93 regular season.
Louisville ranked second followed by Kentucky. Both received five first place votes.
