LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) — Samardo Samuels scored 20 points and grabbed 11 rebounds and Kyle Kuric added 15 points to lead the University of Louisville to an 80-68 victory over Georgetown College in an exhibition game Wednesday.

Georgetown, 27-5 last season, led 35-31 at halftime.

Louisville, an Elite Eight team in last year's NCAA Tournament and last year's winner of the Big East Conference with a 31-6 record, scored five of the first six points in the second half to tie the game.

The Cards pulled away with a 14-5 run sparked by Kuric and freshman guard Peyton Siva. Kuric accounted for 10 points in that spurt with three baskets, two free throws and an assist.

Vincent Crutcher led Georgetown with 10 points.

Georgetown was No. 7 in the NAIA Division I Top 25 preseason coaches poll.
