(WHAS11) - The University of Louisville baseball team is preparing for their final home games before the start of the Big East Tournament.

The Cardinals are ranked 23rd as they take on the Big East leaders, The University of South Florida.

If the Cards want a top spot in the tournament, which starts Wednesday in Florida, they will need to sweep the Bulls and win the conference.

The Cards are scheduled to play South Florida Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

The games are free to the public at Patterson Stadium.
