(WHAS11) -- Horse Rachel Alexandra's recovery continues to impress veterinarians. She is no longer on IV fluids.
Rachel Alexandra was even able to go outside on Wednesday and she continue to walk with someone and graze several times a day.
The 2009 Horse of the Year had to undergo abdominal surgery after complications while giving birth. Her filly is also doing well.
