LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11)—Multiple sports media outlets in Texas are indicating that UofL head football coach, Charlie Strong, is expected to be hired by the University of Texas, though no confirmed reports have been made that Strong will accept the position.

According to WHAS11 Sports Director, Kent Spencer, those closest to Strong said he will make an official decision in the morning.

Sports Illustrated online has reported a high-ranking Texas official said Strong agreed to a five-year contract worth about $5 million per season, though this is not confirmed.
