(WHAS11) -- The Cardinal football team got a big shout out from U.S. Representative John Yarmuth, who congratulated them on their Sugar Bowl win on the house floor.
He stood next to a sign reading "how sweet it is."
Yarmuth went on to highlight the Cards' accomplishments this season, and gave a shout out to Charlie Strong for what he's done for the program.
