LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – One of Rick Pitino’s colts he co-owned has now been sold.
Russdiculous, named after U of L junior Russ Smith, was put into a claiming race by trainer Doug O’Neil in Santa Anita yesterday.
The three-year-old colt was sold for $30,000 and was transferred to trainer Ted West.
Pitino still has a pair of horses named Gorgui and Siva.
