LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Rick Pitino is calling Saturday's home game with Notre Dame the "biggest home game" of his time at the University of Louisville.

With a Louisville win and a Georgetown loss the Cards would be Big East Champs.

WE are also winding down the Big East conference as we know it. It was announced that the Catholic schools will retain the Big East name and Madison Square Garden for the tournament.

ESPN is also reporting the remaining football schools, which include Louisville for one year, will be called the "America 12 Conference."
