(WHAS11) -- Penn State fans will no longer be singing the song "Sweet Caroline" at their football games.
The song by Neil Diamond has apparently been rotated out of the playlist for Beaver Stadium mere months after former assistant coach Jerry Sandusky was convicted on 45 counts of sexual abuse.
The school says the decision wasn't made because of the lyrics, which include the line "touching me...touching you," but instead say they prefer not to use the song since it is used so much at other colleges and in the pros.
