The University of Louisville rowing program will host the fourth annual Red & Black Day this Saturday at the Cardinal Boathouse at Waterfront Park on River Road. The event will again include several intra-squad scrimmage races followed by a cookout with the rowers and coaches.

The event will begin at 11 a.m. ET with a welcome from head coach Laura Aubrey and will be followed by introductions of the Cardinal rowers and coaching staff and recognition of Louisville’s award winners from the previous season. The boats will launch at approximately 11:45 a.m., and will be followed by the racing, which should be completed by approximately 1 p.m. The cookout is set to follow the racing at 1:10 p.m.

The U of L Pep Band and the Cardinal Bird mascot will be in attendance, while prize drawings will be held throughout the day. Louisville rowing gear and merchandise will also be on sale throughout the day. Directions to the Cardinal Boathouse can be found online at www.UofLsports.com.
