LEXINGTON, Ky. (WHAS11)—A high profile NBA superstar is in the heart of college basketball country this weekend for an AAU tournament.
LeBron James, the newly announced Cleveland Cavalier, is in Lexington for his son, LeBron Jr.’s, AAU basketball tournament. He flew into the middle of the Big Blue Nation to watch his son, who is in fourth grade, play on Friday night.
James isn’t a newcomer to the city, he made an appearance at a Wildcat basketball game this past season and was the “Y” during a time-out in the second half.
Last week James announced he would be rejoining the Cavs after spending four years in Miami with the Heat where he won two NBA Finals titles.
