LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Basketball season is now underway for Big Blue Nation. The Cats' defense of their national title began Wednesday in Louisville with the Annual Wildcat Tipoff Luncheon. The traditional luncheon comes just a few days before Big Blue Madness.
Coach John Calipari addressed the crowd and surprised some when he was complimentary of the Louisville Cardinals.
